Session – I: Introduction to communication science
Why care about public communication? Which mistakes to avoid? How to become a master in social media communication?
An introductory session to learn from and interact with experts from the Quality and Effectiveness in Science and Technology communication project (QUEST) on the basics of communicating of scientific research.

Session – II: Practical insights on effective communication – learning from the audience
A roundtable to learn from and interact with journalists, civil society organizations and policy makers what they expect, what they want to earn from science and to get tips from colleagues on how to best communicate with them.

Session – III: Science communication workshop
Before the workshop, participants will be asked to share a short ‘press release’ describing the results of one of their research. In this session, they will be paired in small groups together with one expert and/or one stakeholder, to get specific feedback and discuss about topics emerged during previous session.
