It is our pleasure to announce the first GROW!EarlyCareer event on “Building a professional network” that will take place on February 16th 2021 (16:00 CET) as an online event of approximately 1.5h.

Guest speakers for next session will be Prof. Michael Russo and Prof. Timo Busch. In this session we will address different aspects such as networking tips, how to arrange research visits abroad, how to network with top scholars, etc. and, given your track record of successfully building a strong, reliable, and trustful network in the community,

The GROW!EarlyCareer events are a new initiative that GRONEN is initiating to enhance community-building opportunities following the developmental spirit of GRONEN. The idea of the events is to offer a platform where early career researchers (primarily PhD and early postdoc/assistant professors) have the opportunity to discuss a range of career-development topics together with 1-2 experienced researchers. The events will start with a semi-structured online panel debate/ interview during which the guests discuss several broader questions related to the specific topic with a host moderating the discussion. After that we will have enough time to actively discuss with all the participants.

We are currently planning to organize approximately 4 events per year (February/ May/ September/ November). Stay tuned and follow us on social media to receive all the updates!!
