Paper Submissions

Authors are invited to submit full papers until 31 January 2024 via our Conference Management System. Authors will be notified about the status of their submission on 15 March 2024.

Our goal is to motivate submissions that foster GRONEN’s mission of high-quality research on organizations and the natural environment. We encourage submissions related to the conference theme on ‘Mainstreaming Sustainability?’ (see the call for papers here).

Guidelines: Submissions should not exceed 8000 words, including tables, figures, and references. Submissions must include a short abstract of up to 250 words. Even though we ask for full paper submissions, these can be work-in-progress papers. Authors can submit multiple papers.

Quality Criteria and Best Paper Award: Submissions will be evaluated based on fit with GRONEN’s mission and/or the conference theme, as well as rigour, relevance, and innovativeness (theoretically, methodologically, and/or practically). Best papers will be selected for a best paper award. Decisions on the award will be announced during the conference.

Submissions to PhD Days: In addition to submitting papers to the GRONEN conference, PhD students are encouraged to apply for the GRONEN’s PhD days on 27 and 28 May 2024. To apply, they are required to submit an extended abstract of around 2,000 words (excluding references) and a one-page motivation letter by 31 January 2024. Please visit the PhD Days webpage for further instructions on how to apply.
