New Platform: Sustainability in Academia

A new platform, Sustainability in Academia, has been launched to support business programmes in higher education with open access teaching materials. The collection already includes around 300 resources carefully curated to help educators bring sustainability into their classrooms.

The materials are organized by knowledge domains, cross-cutting SDG competences, and innovative learning approaches. Each resource undergoes a review process involving faculty members from around the world. This ensures that the content is reliable, relevant, and of high quality. To make things even more practical, every resource comes with clear recommendations on how it can be used in teaching.

The platform is designed not just as a library but as a collaborative community. Educators are invited to browse the resources, leave comments, and exchange ideas with peers. By doing so, they can learn from each other’s experiences and improve classroom practice.

Contributions from faculty are also welcome. You can join as a curator to help shape the collection further, or share your own teaching materials to reach a global audience. In this way, Sustainability in Academia aims to build a growing network dedicated to preparing the next generation of responsible business leaders.
