Prof. Juliane Reinecke, whose research draws on insights from organisation theory, political philosophy and process studies to explore, broadly speaking, how transnational governance institutions emerge and evolve as a result of the interactions of multiple stakeholders to promote more just and sustainable forms of globalisation in global supply chains, but also organisations in general.

Hubert Motte is a 30-year-old engineer from Lille who is convinced that every individual can play a part in making the world a better place.

After 3 years as an apprentice product engineer with the mountain brands in Sallanches, he wanted to devote himself fully to creating products that make the world a better place. With his degree in hand, he launched his brand in 2017 from a student flat in Lille and since then… Life is Belt!

La Vie est Belt is a brand that makes fashion accessories from reused materials.

Over 50,000 bicycle tyres are recycled into belts, among other things. The clothes are made at La Belterie in Roubaix!

In 2009, fresh out of ITEEM (a prestigious institution born from the fusion of Ecole Centrale Lille and SKEMA Business School), Charles Christory embarked on his entrepreneurial journey by establishing Adictiz. Fast forward to 2018, and Adictiz had soared to become a frontrunner in the dynamic realm of marketing games within France, eventually catching the attention of Webedia, which acquired the company.

Charles’s innovative spirit didn’t stop there. In 2021, he co-founded Le Fourgon, driven by a noble mission: to democratize access to delivery services for all French citizens. Today, Le Fourgon‘s reach spans an impressive 2,500 cities across France. Offering an extensive selection of beverages, groceries, and household essentials, the process for setting up in an area remains the same. It always starts by looking for a warehouse, then sourcing local products, to help small producers switch to the deposit system, by using standardised bottles that are thick enough not to break in the washing machines, and by using a soluble label. Le Fourgon has become a go-to destination for countless households, rescuing over a million packages from the hassle of in-store shopping each month, promoting recycling and reducing waste.

Benjamin Michaud, who graduated from SKEMA Business School in 2005, has built his career in the French food industry with a clear vision: to make the industry more sustainable and responsible. The fact that plant-based food is a key element in meeting the challenges of population growth and reducing our carbon footprint led him to Bonduelle in 2014. There, he embraces the values of a 170-year-old family business, where sustainability is deeply rooted. His raison d’être is to help inspire the transition to a more plant-based diet, to contribute to human well-being and the preservation of the planet. In daily contact with major European retailers, Benjamin is very committed to multiplying positive impact initiatives.
