Join leaders of business school sustainability research centres June 24-26, 2020, in Vienna, Austria.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbs-scc2020.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\">Details here<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><b>Full note<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Dear Colleagues:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Registration is now open for the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbs-scc2020.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\">2020 Sustainability\u00a0Centres\u00a0Community\u00a0workshop<\/a>\u00a0in Vienna,\u00a0Austria,\u00a0June 24-26, 2020.\u00a0 If you lead a\u00a0research\u00a0centre, I encourage you to attend.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Every\u00a0two\u00a0years, the Network for Business Sustainability brings together members of its\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbs.net\/for-sustainability-centres\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\">Sustainability\u00a0Centres\u00a0Community<\/a>\u00a0(SCC) to discuss the challenges and opportunities in directing a sustainability\u00a0centre\u00a0within a business\u00a0schools.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">You can register for the workshop here:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbs-scc2020.com\/events\/2020-nbs-scc-workshop\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\">https:\/\/www.nbs-scc2020.com\/events\/2020-nbs-scc-workshop<\/a>.\u00a0The cost is \u20ac280 EUR (\u20ac350 after May 1), which includes most meals but not accommodations.\u00a0Payment is possible via credit or debit card or bank transfer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The 2020 workshop has two objectives: to (1) increase impact and (2) build collective wisdom. All activities will emphasize peer learning and transformative change. The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbs-scc2020.com\/program\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\">program<\/a><u>\u00a0<\/u>includes:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">one day of multi-sectoral engagement, focused on the question: \u201cRadical change vs. more of the same? What is needed for a transformative sustainable change?\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">two days focused on improving sustainability centre research, teaching, outreach, and strategy.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Capacity is limited to 80 participants, so we ask that no more than two individuals register from each centre. Limited bursaries may be available for individuals from emerging economies.
